Christmas Holiday

Adopt-A-Family

Each year, The Women’s Resource Center also helps the Independence Program clients and their families celebrate the Christmas holiday.

Our program is designed to assist low-income families, where most often the women are the head of the household, and all income is used to fulfill the family’s basic needs. Holiday gifts are viewed as a luxury and rarely affordable; they need our help to make their holidays a less stressful and more joyous occasion.

© If you are interested in becoming a benefactor and adopting a family for the holiday season, please contact the client services specialist in your area.  Upon adopting a family, you will receive a profile of the family and a brief wish list.
