Our Goal:

To enrich the lives of women and their families through setting and achieving goals. Our educational and case management programs are designed to help women HELP themselves. Our comprehensive program is based on progressing from meeting basic needs to individual self-sufficiency and life enrichment.

Program Overview:

Our program requires a nine-month commitment.

The Independence Program serves two purposes:

     1. Provide life-long skills through weekly educational workshops

2. An individualized plan helping to attain both short- and long-term goals through weekly contact with the client service specialist.

The Independence Curriculum:

Our unique program is structured in such a way that women have the opportunity to attend educational workshops and earn units for their participation. Throughout the nine months, you will move through the different levels of the program, earning units and receiving various incentives along the way. At the same time, you will set individual and personal short- and long-term goals and with the help of the client service specialist, you will achieve those goals.
