Becoming Active

Here are some ways you can begin helping:

• Thanksgiving and Christmas Programs: coordination and gathering of food for Thanksgiving baskets and Christmas gifts for the clients and families of our Independence Program.  Adopt a family this year!
• Volunteer - at the thrift shop, information/referral HOTLINE,  at special events, etc.
• Facilitate group meetings for women on areas of your personal or business expertise.
• Add your non-profit organization to our information/hotline network.
• Make a bequest, honorarium, or memorial gift in the name of someone you love or admire to the Women's Resource Center.
• Mentor a woman in transition.
• Enroll in our Independence Program.
