Captain Dina Russell

Dina Russell is a Captain with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, where she has been employed for past 18 years.  She has become a respected member, known for her expertise, leadership, and unwavering dedication to her community. Russell’s academic journey laid a strong foundation for her distinguished career. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice Administration from the University of South Florida.  She has an active involvement in various civic and professional organizations. As a member of the Board of Directors for Heartland for Children, Russell has contributed to efforts aimed at improving the lives of children and families in the community. Her role in the National Association of Women Law Enforcement Executives underscores her commitment to advancing the role of women in law enforcement and promoting leadership within the field.
