Amanda Porter

Amanda Porter is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida; she currently works as a Director of Marketing for Platinum Benefit Services, to assist clients in obtaining long-term care Medicaid benefits for nursing home or assisted living. She graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and from University of South Florida in 2015 with a Master of Social Work degree. Amanda is originally from Hardee County, but has been residing in Lakeland since 2015. She previously worked as a case manager at a local Polk County hospital, where she realized her passion for helping others attain the resources and benefits they need to thrive in life (not just survive). Amanda made the decision to leave the field of case management in 2021 to work in healthcare marketing, but often uses her clinical skills and knowledge of local resources to help clients and the community.
